My Top Beauty Product for February

I found this hidden gem in December right after Christmas.  I'm sure most of you are familiar with the High Beam by Benefit, which is a very shiny highlighter.  The Girl Meets Pearl by Benefit has more of a glossy pearl hue mixed with pink. When comparing the two products, the High Beam is more of a dramatic finish, while the Girl Meets Pearl is more subtle.  Overall, I'm very pleased with the results so far because it looks like a natural highlight, which was the look I was going for.

DIY Inspiration

So as most of you know, I have moved to Iowa because of my new job in retail.  Yes, Iowa the land of corn and boredom.  Since it is winter and I don't know anyone outside of work, I have started a few diy projects.  When I moved in, I noticed that my living room is a space of blank white walls, so I picked up a canvas and some paint from Hobby Lobby to create this portrait.  I was going for a more distressed and effortless look with unclean lines.  I added the doves at the bottom to give it a sweet  personality.  Happy Crafting!
